What Information Do I Need to Provide For Your Professional Service?
We will need the following:
- A copy of your birth certificate
- If married, a copy of your marriage certificate
- If you have children, a copy of each of their birth certificates
- Current address and phone number
- All names used in the past: Maiden name, changed names, married names, aliases.
- Digital Recent Photo: Clear color photo with white background (similar to a passport headshot)
What Happens To My Documents After You Receive them?
For Preparing Documents:
We will not share or sell your information to anyone, for any reason. All documents are digital and will be deleted once the order is complete.
For Recording Documents:
If you live in New Mexico and will be recording your paperwork with us, all your documents will be kept on file in our office, and it will also go to the State Coordinator.
You will keep your original documentation and we hold onto a copy for our records, both digitally and in a physical location.
Recorded documents are only shared with the New Mexico Assembly State Coordinator and one other New Mexico Recording Secretary. None of your information will be sold or used for any reason.
How Long Does It Take To Receive My Prepared Documents?
Your prepared documents will be sent back to you via Email within 3-5 business days.
Hardcopy orders will arrive in 5-7 days by United States Postal Service Priority Mail.
If we are preparing your documents and also recording, your documents will arrive in 5-7 business days and we will schedule an appointment to record everything.
Do You Offer Refunds?
We don’t offer refunds.
Can I Upgrade My Package Selection?
We offer several different package options and you are welcome to upgrade. Just contact us within three days of your initial order and we’ll make sure you get the new package.

When you purchase a subscription to our Recording Secretary Listing, you will get the following:

Each Recording Secretary sets their own fees, hours of operation, and if they travel what the fee is for traveling.
Status Select isn’t the go-between between a recorder and their clients. Your contact information and the contact forms will include your email and go directly to you. Status Select doesn’t control potential incoming clients.
How To Subscribe To Our Service
Subscription Price: $15.00 per month
To subscribe to our service you must be an American State National.
Fill out the application form to the right and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
We will need to see a copy of your American State National Credentials or your 1779 form that has been recorded.
You will receive an invoice for your subscription each month.

Mobile Recording Service
If you're changing your political status in New Mexico and you are located in the Southwest area, we will be available to record your documents after November 2020.
Your documents will be formatted as E-Documents. Hard copies can be provided and sent USPS for those who do not have access to computers or do not use email.
